The students ranged from ages 5 to 12 years old. Eight (8) of the students are currently attending the Piaye Combined School while the remaining two are first form students at the Beanfield Secondary and Vieux- Fort Comprehensive Secondary School.
This venture could not have been possible without the assistance of sponsors from the community of Piaye as well as funds earned from the groups many fundraisers and cultural performances.
The main aim of Twadisyon O’Pyay is to keep the Koutoumba dances associated with the community of Piaye alive among the youth as well as to foster development and create employment opportunities.
The group would like to thank the sponsors as well as the community of Piaye at large for their continued support.
