PRESS RELEASE - The Young Motivators from Dennery in collaboration with the Boka Group developers of the Belvedere Plantation and the Saint Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association will be staging the Youth Exposure in Dennery on Sunday, 26th April from 2pm.
There are a number of young artistes scheduled to perform including Mighty and Surburnance as well as Pewee all from the Dennery area.
Apart from these acts a number of dance groups and poets from the area will be on hand to entertain the audience.
The SLHTA in its thrust to get more young people employed will be embarking on a mini-job fair.
They hope that the youth of the communities in the Dennery/ Micoud area will bring along their resumes and apply to join their apprenticeship programmes so that they can get real world experience in the hotel sector.
The event is free to the public and we encourage everyone to come out and support this worthwhile venture.
We hope that we can continue to affect the lives of our young people by continuing to pursue such opportunities in communities which are affected by the growing scourge of unemployment.
