The 62nd Annual Oklahoma Pentasectional Meeting of the American Chemical Society is an event where students from across and outside the state come to showcase their research and compete for the prestigious win.
At the Pentasectional meeting, Imani Agard highlighted her research which focused on modifying existing anti-tumor compounds to make them safer to use in the human body, and testing their efficacy against Breast Cancer Cell Lines.
Imani placed first in the undergraduate arena, winning overall best Chemistry research poster in the state of Oklahoma.
