PRESS RELEASE – The St. Lucia Teacher Co-operative Credit Union is excited to welcome all teachers and students back to school for the academic year 2016-2017. The beginning of the school year is always exciting and worthy of celebrating.
The institution wishes to encourage teachers and students to make this school year one of great enthusiasm and commit themselves to help their school foster a successful learning environment.
In July 2016, the institution hosted its annual Depositors’ Camp which saw a total number of 70 kids engaging in tours, arts, craft, dance, music and a strategic component on savings.
On the 28th of July, the SLTCCU hosted its annual bursary ceremony for members with children succeeding the 2016 common entrance exam.
The SLTCCU issued seventy nine (79) bursaries of $300 each to members, to assist in their preparation for back to school.
The St. Lucia Teacher Co-operative Credit Union remains committed to making a positive difference in the lives of all its members.
