PRESS RELEASE – The National Students’ Council joins hands in solidarity with the students of Saint Lucia in expressing condolences to the family and friends of Joshua Hinds, a first year student of the Division of Arts, Science and General Studies at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College.
From all accounts, Joshua embodied jovialness which he translated into brightening up the lives of his classmates, especially those within his circle; a young man who enjoyed giving jokes and spending quality time with friends.
We as a union are saddened by the loss of one of our members, a valuable contributor to the movement and the country at large. Joshua will surely be remembered for his demonstrations of peace and goodwill. The NSC urges the student community to come together to provide comfort
for the family as we bid farewell to the high-spirited, Joshua Hinds. May he rest in peace.
