Students and parents from the Canaries Community after receiving their bags.
PRESS RELEASE – On Saturday, August 29th 2015 The Rotaract Club of St Lucia in association with the West Indian Association of Bermuda (WIAB) delivered School supplies to students of the Anse La Raye and Canaries Schools.
This was part of our Giving Hope project which was aimed at providing assistance to families that were affected by the Christmas Eve Trough.
Through this project forty (40) students, twenty (20) from Canaries and twenty (20) from Anse La Raye both infant and primary respectively were presented with school bags packed with notebooks, pens, erasers, pencils cases, pencils, crayons and rulers all in effort to assist them in the upcoming school year.
The Rotaract Club of St.Lucia recognizes the importance of education and hope that our contributions can assist the students in having a productive school year.
