The official launch of Youth Advocacy Alliance (St. Lucia) will take place at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 23.
The Youth Advocacy Alliance (St. Lucia) is intended to be an alliance of all organizations and activists involved in the promotion of youth development work nationally.
The Alliance is currently made up of 14 member organizations and continues to grow annually since its first meeting in 2011.
The aim of the Alliance is to combine efforts of youth advocacy, national youth service and boosting the culture of volunteerism in Saint Lucia.
With support of the Caribbean Regional Youth Council, it is expected that such alliances will be built across the various Caribbean Countries thereby rebuilding the youth movement in our region.
