A group of college-age students recently made a donation to the Marian Home for the Elderly as part of a newly-formed charity project.
According to Jermica Benti, a group of friends came together to create a project called “Giving Back” where a donation was made to the Marian Home on Sunday afternoon (Jan. 11).
Benti said two boxes of groceries and sandwiches were distributed to the elderly.
The group plans to make more donations in the near future.
