(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – The Alexander Family Foundation and Events (A.F.F.E.) continues its philanthropic efforts for yet another year!
Last year the Foundation hosted its inaugural Miss Curves With Confidence Pageant; resulting in generous donations of school supplies and hampers being distributed to a total of twenty-five underprivileged children from the communities of Soufriere, Fond St Jacques, Choiseul and Canaries.
In true AFFE fashion, where everything only gets bigger and better, the 2018 Pageant and subsequent donor ceremony was no disappointment! The Foundation was able to extend its philanthropic reach into the communities of Millet, Anse-la-Ray, Canaries, Soufriere, Fond St Jacques, Vieux Fort, Castries and last but certainly not least, Choiseul.
The ceremony was hosted by the Foundation’s President Mrs. Maylisa Alexander and presided over by the Pageant’s reigning Queen, Miss Richianna Hipployte. This year, fifty well deserving children were given a brighter start to their upcoming school year with AFFE’s help!
The Alexander Family Foundation remains committed to filling in the gaps in the social safety nets of the nation’s communities as well as creating opportunities for self-development among the nation’s youth. Their goal, while ambitious, is achievable; and they intend to do it, one event at a time.
