(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – Team #SHSL is ecstatic! Announcing the 2018 Startup Huddle St. Lucia Regional Co-organizers! These Entrepreneurs are members of the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative Cohort.
After reviewing the entries and going through video and phone interviews, four Professional Fellows were appointed. They will serve for a period of six months, during which they will attain the knowledge, skills and expertise in hosting a Startup Huddle program.
The Regional Co-organizers will go through an onboarding process and will take the necessary online courses to prepare them for this experience. They will also be registered as members of the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), which developed the Startup Huddle program.
All Regional Co-organizers will come to St. Lucia for the official launch of Startup Huddle St. Lucia, and to participate in the first event which will be held on Wednesday, November 14th 2018 at the Finance Administrative Centre at Pointe Seraphine in Castries. Persons can register to attend the event, to see for themselves what the Startup Huddle St. Lucia program is all about.
Recruitment of Local Co-organizers is still ongoing but will close on July 16th. The announcement of the appointed Local Co-organizers will be made on July 18th 2018. Interested persons in St. Lucia are invited to apply for this amazing experience and must send their resumes to startuphuddlestlucia@gmail.com.
After serving with Team #SHSL, these Regional Co-organizers will be able to apply for a license with the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), to host a Startup Huddle chapter in their own island or country!
What does this mean for Startup Entrepreneurs in the Caribbean and Latin America? It means that they will be able to present their startups at any of these regional chapters, whether it be in St. Lucia, Dominica, Barbados, Guyana or Nicaragua. Entrepreneurs will also be able to present their startups at other Startup Huddle chapters hosted around the globe!
Startup Huddle St. Lucia is a free monthly program designed to Educate, Engage and Connect Entrepreneurs. Once every month, Entrepreneurs come together to pitch their startup, reveal challenges and crowd-source solutions.
